Student Breakfast and Lunch Rules: Depends on COVID
During
breakfast, students in grades K-2 will eat in the cafeteria (Pre-K has
all meals in their classroom). Students in grades 3-6 may pick up
breakfast and take it to their first period class. Students in grades
7-12 may eat breakfast beginning at 7:45 a.m in the cafeteria. Students
in grades 7-12 are expected to eat breakfast in the cafeteria.
Breakfast items cannot be taken to first period class unless permission
is granted by the homeroom teacher.
No students in PK-11 may
leave school property during their lunch period (or at any other time
during the school day). Seniors that are in good academic and
behavioral standing and have a signed permission form signed by their
parents and school administration are permitted to walk home or downtown
for lunch. Students may eat in the school cafeteria, or students in
grades 7-12 may eat outside on school grounds on the school side of
Route 51. Students may not cross the street to the athletic
field/parking lot side of the property during lunch. Students who
choose to eat outside must dispose of all litter in proper containers or
risk losing their outside privileges.
